QA/QI

Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement

What is QA/QI?
Quality Assessment is the evaluation of everything that you to see if it is effective, legal, ethical, and nice. You then take that information and develop a plan to improve areas of concern. Once the planning is complete you then implement the changes, check to see if they are working, and the process begins again. Oftentimes QA/QI is used when speaking of evaluating PCRs for thoroughness and for proper care. By law under Article 30, Section 3006, you must have such a program.

LPCCN's Role
The role of LPCCN is two-fold, the first by screening PCRs for State-specific data and the second by assisting agencies to establish a QA/QI program. One way we are helping is by developing the tools to use. We have developed tools that you can use below. Contact LPCCN for more information or to customize these tools for your agency.
